What SubTracker Does Not Store

SubTracker does not connect to your bank. It does not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or any payment credentials. All data you enter is information you type manually: service names, amounts, dates. Your financial accounts are never accessed.

Use Different Email Addresses for Subscriptions

Consider using different email addresses for different categories of subscriptions. A dedicated email for streaming services, another for software tools. This makes it easier to manage, reduces spam leakage, and contains the blast radius if one account is breached.

Check for Unused App Permissions

Many subscription services request access to your contacts, camera, or location when they do not need it. Review and revoke unnecessary permissions regularly. On iOS: Settings → Privacy. On Android: Settings → Privacy → Permission Manager.

Watch Your Bank Statement

Even with SubTracker, review your bank statements monthly. SubTracker tracks what you have entered; it cannot detect subscriptions you forgot to add. Unexplained charges should be investigated immediately.

Account Security Basics

Use a unique, strong password for every subscription service. Use a password manager. Enable two-factor authentication wherever available, especially for services with your payment details on file. If a service you use has a data breach, change your password immediately and check for fraudulent charges.
